The IN-HOUSE Tournament | Friendly Series is a year-round competition circuit organized by East LA Jiu-Jitsu, a 501(c)3 nonprofit jiu-jitsu school serving the entire East Side of Los Angeles. Our mission is simple: make jiu-jitsu affordable and accessible for everyone.

Beyond our two academies, we run three after-school programs for at-risk youth and do extensive work through the regional center for individuals with developmental disabilities. Every competitor fee from the Friendly Series goes directly to fund these programs. When you compete, you give the gift of jiu-jitsu.

Four events across 2026. Spring, Summer, Fall and The Finals. Team standings are tracked all season, and The Finals close things out with Gi and No-Gi divisions plus double points toward final season standings. Every event is run professionally with certified referees and Smoothcomp for accurate bracket management so the day runs organized and on time.
